One of my many hobby's is phography. When I was a teenager I joined a photo club, we had our own darkroom, some good camera's and a professional photographer as our teacher. We only did black and white photography (color was too expensive at that time) and we learned all the tricks of the book and a lot of techniques. Unfortunaly the club fell apart due too lack of money, but I spend many hours in the dark room and learned a lot about photgraphy.

Until a few years ago I only made home photo's of the kids, my family and our holidays. A few years ago I bought my first digital camara (Minolta) and I started to make more and more photo's again. I remembered a lot of techniques and composition rules and started again as a amateur photographer. Today my dark room is Photoshop and I own a very good digital (Fujifilm S7000) camera.

Because I am also a software engineer and web developer, I write my own photo software and website components. You could say that I combine some of my hobby's.

On these pages I try to give some information about photography in general and show some of the photo's I like.

I am also a member of photograph club Camera Obscura here in Veenendaal. This is an association of enthusiastic people who share their particular interest for photography with each other. There are several find styles of photography within the association. The association has about 32 enthusiastic members, both women and men. Some members are new in the photography, others are more experience. Together we have been fascinated by the virtually infinite possibilities which photography offers us.
