One of my many hobby's is photography. When I was a teenager I joined a photo club, we had our own darkroom, some good photo camera's and a professional photographer as our teacher. At that time we only did black and white photography (color was too expensive) and we learned all the tricks of the book and a lot of techniques. Unfortunaly the club fell apart due too lack of money and members, but I spend many hours in the dark room and learned a lot about photography.

Until a few years ago I only made home photographs of the my kids, my family and our holidays. A few years ago I bought my first digital camara (Minolta) and I started to make more and more photo's again. I remembered a lot of techniques and composition rules and started again as a amateur photographer. Today my dark room is Photoshop and I own a very good digital (Fujifilm S7000) camera.

Because I am also a software engineer and web developer, I write my own photo software and website components. You could say that I combine some of my hobby's.

On these pages I try to give some information about photography in general and show some of the photo's I like.
